My favorite bedtime ritual with my little guy is reading together before bed (and naps) including a couple of your previous books, always favorites.

Snuggling with my kids when they were younger. My son & I enjoy coloring before bedtime now. He is almost 12. And of course reading!!

My favorite part of our bedtime routine is taking a moment to snuggle after books and before leaving the room. These are some of our sweetest moments.
Tracey on August 29, 2017 20:20
My Favorite ritual is always bath and then bed time book. We love to read. You are my pumpkin. It’s my 18 month olds favorite book. Cuddles and soon Jeffrey is fast asleep. The 3 B’s Bath, Book, and Bed.
Andrea on August 29, 2017 19:11
After reading with my little boy, we always sing two songs before bed : Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and…for some reason!… On Top of Spaghetti :)
Lana Taylor on August 29, 2017 18:59
My favorite bed time ritual with my little niece is giving her a bottle and rocking her to sleep in my arms whike I hum to her. If she still won’t fall asleep, we settle down by reading one of her favorite books and then I hum to her to help her fall asleep.
Vicki on August 29, 2017 18:15
My little twin nieces loved to be cuddled and held and be read to, and rocked. They love their time with their Momma and Daddy.
Elaine Yang on August 29, 2017 18:03
We love your books! We first learned about you through a friend (Celicia C Zhao) and absolutely loved not only the storylines, but the artwork as well! Our bedtime routine consists of a bath, a choice of 3 books, a prayer and a song! Thanks for all that you do!
JenniferJeng on August 29, 2017 17:38
We kick off the routine with bath time, which is Ollie’s 1on1 time with daddy. Then we let him pick from a few toothpaste flavors and sing together as we brush his teeth. Next comes prayers, bible and storybook time (he is a HUGE fan of We Belong Together!), always ending with singing Jesus Loves Me before placing his little grey bear into his hands, counting down 3-2-1 for lights out and saying I love you, goodnight.

Every night we would read before bedtime & he would fall asleep with one of the books we read.
Mike on August 29, 2017 16:33
Every night we have a similar routine with our 2yo. First, we eat a snack before bed, and let our little sweetie pick (usually ice cream or fruit). Then, we head up to get a bath, and we will color with our bath time crayons, and sing our favorite LBB songs from YouTube, or practice our ABCs, Numbers, shapes or colors. When we are done, he will press the button to drain the water out, and we wrap up in a towel to get dried off. Then we brush our teeth, take our medicine and get dressed. Lastly, we have to read a goodnight story or two. He won’t go to sleep until he thinks that everyone and everything in his world is asleep. So he will ask “Mickey Mouse go sleep? Donald go sleep? Police car sleep? Pappy sleep?” Once he is satisfied and thinks everyone is asleep, he rests his eyes and falls asleep.

My youngest grandson is 3 and loves a “snuggle toy” along with his bedtime stories. What a wonderful treat to get 2 for 1! I wish all books came with cuddly little book buddies.

My son looked up at me at bedtime, when he was just talking, and said " You are my most." Now we say it to each other every night when I tuck him in. ❤️

Our bedtime ritual is bath time, jammies, and 2 books. Daddy reads “You are my cupcake” and mommy reads “Hug you, kiss you, love you” every night! If Daddy isn’t home (because the Army takes him sometimes) we read “Peek-a-boo farm”.

I start with a warm bath in Lavender bubbles, then after drying lotion all him all up with a Lavender lotion. Put on soft, comfy jammies and then it’s cuddle time. Then we do our “pit & peak” time. Which is: we start by each of tells the other what was the “Pit” of our day, then what was the “Peak” of our day! (Meaning what was our low & high points of the day)
Then finish off with our prayers!
Thank you for the chance at this giveaway! The book looks precious!

My daughter drinks a glass of milk, brushes her teeth, we read a book & sometimes sing songs then she goes to sleep.
Christopher Canevit on August 29, 2017 13:02
What bedtime ritual isn’t complete with out brushing teeth, and then snuggles while you read them a book in the rocking chair?
The snuggles are the best part, and now it’s all about the questions. “Daddy, what’s that?” “Daddy? I’m thirsty!” “Daddy, lay down me”
Diane A on August 29, 2017 13:01
Sam loves to drink her nightly milk while we sit with her and read. Curious George is her current favorite. :)
Amy on August 29, 2017 12:58
I love going on a family walk after dinner but before bedtime. It helps transition into nighttime and clears the mind before bed.
Joy Chu on August 29, 2017 12:53
My grandson Luca LOVES being read to — especially if it is a board book. He loves the feel of them, will grab one from your grip, and turn the pages himself, pressing anything that looks like a button when you point at it! We are thrilled with this new “pointing” phase,* especially when applied to board books!
*NOTE: According to the following article, while seemingly minor, pointing is actually a big developmental milestone for babies.
http://www.slate.com/blogs/how_babies_work/2013/03/26/research_on_babies_and_pointing_reveals_the_action_s_importance.html
I’m so proud that he’s been eagerly pointing emphatically at BOARD BOOKS.

Double Bacon Cheeseburger….chocolate milkshake. Puts me right to sleep every time. <3
Sarah on August 29, 2017 12:44
Reading books, of course! My 4.5 twins love to crowd in our oversized rocker and read stories together. They’ve started to memorize parts and recognize sight words, which makes it so fun to read “together.”
Misty Morris on August 29, 2017 12:43
We all cuddle on the kiddos bottom bunk bed. We each select 2 books. We read them and say one thing we are grateful for and one thing we’ll do better tomorrow. ❤️

We’re pretty easygoing about bedtime: just a few stories (sometimes more than just a few!), then the kids brush their teeth and we put them down for the night.
Sara Espanol on August 29, 2017 12:38
Every night after bath, I sing “Pajama Pokey” as I help my toddler get dressed in her jammies. Then we read a book and my husband sings her a song before putting her in bed.
Jennifer Zamora on August 29, 2017 12:37
I have a 7 year old and 8 month old. Every night my oldest daughter changes into her pajamas and brushes her teeth on her own. After a breath check the 3 of us jump into our oldest’s bed and we take turns reading to each other while the little one lays in between us squealing with delight as she’s being read to! We read anything from chapter books to board books (We go together by Joyce Wan is a family favorite). After books, I scratch my oldest’s back for 20 seconds, we say a prayer, kiss each other goodnight and away she sleeps.
Nicole Turpin on August 29, 2017 12:33
Nighttime ritual for us is listening to “Au Clare de la lune”, and reading some of our favourite stories such as “Peep and Egg: I’m not hatching” “Goodnight Mr. Darcy”, and “Its time for bed”. Lots of snuggles, and always time for just one more book… ❤️

We read two books, have a snack, brush our teeth, and sing two songs. Singing songs is my favorite part, because she crawls into our laps and lets us sing to her.
Kimberly Layton on August 29, 2017 12:23
Before bedtime we like to watch one last episode of her favorite show! Then it’s upstairs to brush teeth and snuggle up with marshmallow blankie to read books! Her favorite bedtime books are You Are My Pumpkin and Are You My Mommy? After books we turn on her music playlist, which consists of music from The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings movies! Sometimes we sing You Are My Sunshine and Baby Mine! Then it’s off to sleep! ?

For my 2.5 year old, it’s bath then books! He loves reading!
Marie on August 29, 2017 12:04
Every evening I give my girls a bath and then we snuggle up with some hot cocoa or ice cream and read books. They always love your books because of the illustrations and they are the perfect size for their little hands to hold.
Tiffany Baruah on August 29, 2017 12:01
Right before bed we do “family kisses” where mommy and daddy kiss good night then baby and mommy and baby and daddy kiss good night. It’s a special family time to show how we all love each other so much :)
Hien on August 29, 2017 11:57
My almost 2 year old’s favorite bedtime ritual is when we have extra time at night to take a bubble bath together in my jetted tub. The jet helps make more bubbles whenever they start to dissolve.
Lindsay H on August 29, 2017 11:50
We brush teeth, put on jammies, read a story, sing a song, and do bedtime prayers. Sometimes my 8 year old reads to us or his little brother or sister instead of us reading to him!
Sean on August 29, 2017 11:48
I love reading your book to my 16 month old son, snuggling him while he smiles and point at pictures. His new favorite words to say is when he sees a star or a moon.

My favorite bedtime ritual is reading with my two year old. He always runs to his bookshelf to grab a “last book” repeatedly and I can’t resist and we end up reading several more! ❤️
Jennifer B. on August 29, 2017 11:38
Reading and snuggling my 16 month old son is my favorite bedtime ritual. I usually go through 2-3 books with him. We snuggle with Elmo, and I tell my little boy how much I love him.
Jennifer Bontrager on August 29, 2017 11:35
My favorite bedtime rituals are eating a bowl of cereal, reading a devotional and praying, then laying in my bed and reading a good book. My bedtime routine with my daughter is a special lullaby that my mom sang to me, prayer, and a story with her daddy.

We play a little pretend baseball every night with my Yankees obsessed 2 year old. Then we get on Pjs and read at least 3 books and have snuggles. One of those books is always Are You My Mommy?

Every night my 19m old gathers up her carebears (her fave toys ever!) & brings them to her bedroom. I let her play by nightlight for 5 minutes. Then, we snuggle while lullaby music plays and read books. It’s the perfect downtime routine before putting her in bed.

Favorite bedtime ritual (in addition to reading one of your adorable books) started because when our son was a toddler he became somewhat obsessed with having us sing Happy Birthday to him at bedtime, After close to a year of it we decided to sing “Thank you God for….” to the tune of Happy Birthday instead, letting him decide what he wanted to thank God for each night. It is like a bedtime prayer and song in one. He is 7 now and still asks to sing it every night.
Theresa on August 29, 2017 09:59
Our favorite bedtime rituals includes saying night prayers with our daughter and then reading her 2 books. She usually begs for a third book and we usually give in!
