Happy Spring! I was delighted to welcome my latest book, MIGHTY MOMS, into the world last month. The book is written by Joan Holub a children's book author who has written over 100 books for children. It celebrates the special and powerful love of moms and is a companion board book to the New York Times bestselling MIGHTY DADS (illustrated by James Dean).

Each colorful, energetic page reveals a new type of truck and a new way that moms show their love for their kids. Follow fire truck moms, school bus moms, ambulance moms, and more as they guide and teach their little truck children. Rhythmic, rhyming text and sturdy board book pages make this a perfect read-aloud for any time of day.

I was excited and, to be honest, a little nervous when I was presented with a manuscript about trucks but once I got started, I had so much fun with it! Here is a quick video I created showing my process for creating the book:
